Brief History of KAZ
Aram A. Kazanjian (Gary’s dad) grew up in Philadelphia, served in the army as a Sergeant for five years beginning in 1940, and then relocated to Wethersfield, Connecticut and started working in the furnishings industry for G. Fox & Co. in Hartford as a salesman. He was responsible for selling furniture and furnishings to educational institutions and other markets. In 1954, after nine years of working at G. Fox & Co., Aram and his wife, Florence Kasparian Kazanjian, decided to start The Aram A. Kaz Co., where they felt their new corporation could offer more selection of higher quality products to clients.
